Secondary Course Equivalent to Class X

This Course is equivalent to the Xth standard. You can choose subjects from the Scheme of Studies given in Table. However, you will be required to successfully complete a minimum of five subjects with at least one language or at most two languages, which is compulsory for certification.

Senior Secondary Course Equivalent to Class XII

This Course is equivalent to the XIIth standard. You can choose subjects from the Scheme of Studies given in Table. However, you will be required to successfully complete a minimum of five subjects with at least one language or at most two languages, which is compulsory for certification.

Eligibility Criteria for Secondary School

For Secondary School (X Class), those candidates, who have completed 14 years of age as on 1st July of the year, on the basis of and declaration, that the candidate has studied enough to be able to pursue Secondary School (X Class).

Eligibility Criteria for Senior Secondary School

For Senior Secondary School (XII Class), those candidates, who have completed 16 years of age as on 1st July and have passed Secondary Class (X Class) or equivalent course with sufficient year gap, are eligible to pursue Senior Secondary School (XII Class) through the Open Schooling System.
